Pick a schema type, fill in the form and copy valid JSON-LD for Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, Product, Article or Event markup.

Which schema type should I use?

TypeUse it onWhat it helps with
OrganizationYour homepageLogo, contact details and social profiles connected to your brand
LocalBusinessShop and branch pagesAddress, hours and phone for local search
FAQPagePages with visible FAQsHelps machines understand questions and answers
ProductProduct pagesPrice, availability and reviews in results

EventConcerts, shows and workshopsEvent listings with dates and venues

How to add it to your site

  1. Generate the JSON-LD with the form above.
  2. Paste it into the <head> of the page, or use your CMS's custom code area.
  3. Test it with Google's Rich Results Test.
  4. Watch the Enhancements reports in Search Console for errors.

The golden rule: structured data must match what visitors see. Don't mark up reviews, prices or FAQs that aren't on the page.

Questions people ask

Does schema markup improve rankings?

Not directly. It helps search engines understand your pages and makes you eligible for rich results, which can improve clicks.

Do FAQ rich results still show in Google?

Mostly only for well-known government and health sites now. FAQ markup can still help machines understand your page.

Is JSON-LD better than microdata?

Google supports both but recommends JSON-LD because it's easier to add and maintain.
