Link analyzer: every internal and external link on a page

List every link on a page with its anchor text and rel value, see the internal and external split, and find links with no text.

Internal links tell Google which pages matter most and help visitors move through your site. Important pages should get links from many relevant pages, with descriptive anchor text, not "click here".

(none)Normal editorial links you vouch for

Paid links without sponsored or nofollow break Google's guidelines and can lead to penalties.

What to look for

  1. Key pages with few internal links. Link to them from related content.
  2. Links with no anchor text, usually image links without alt text.
  3. Links to http:// pages that should be https.
  4. Too many links in menus and footers compared to links in the main content.

Questions people ask

How many links can a page have?

There's no fixed limit. What matters is that links are useful and that important pages aren't buried among hundreds of others.

Should external links be nofollow?

Only paid, sponsored, user-generated or untrusted links need it. Linking to good sources normally is fine.

Does it find broken links?

It lists links but doesn't test each one. Use the [redirect checker](/tools/redirect-checker/) on any you're unsure about.
