What this SEO checker tests

The checker fetches the page the way a search engine would, then runs 15 checks on the HTML:

CheckWhy it matters
Status and HTTPSA page that errors or isn't secure can't rank well
Title tagThe clickable headline in Google; 30 to 60 characters is a safe range
Meta descriptionThe snippet under the title; it drives clicks, not rankings
H1 headingOne clear H1 tells search engines and readers what the page is about
Canonical tagPrevents duplicate URLs from competing with each other
IndexingCatches a stray noindex tag or X-Robots-Tag header
Language and viewportBasic signals for the right audience and mobile devices
Structured dataLists the schema types found, and flags invalid JSON-LD
Social tagsOpen Graph title and image for good-looking shares
Image alt textAccessibility and image search
Internal links and content lengthThin, isolated pages rarely rank

How to read your score

The score starts at 100 and drops for every item marked Fix or Check. A score above 85 means the page's basics are in place. Below 70 usually means something important is missing, like a title, a description or an indexable status.

A good score doesn't guarantee rankings. Content quality, links, speed and competition decide most of the result. But pages that fail the basics almost never rank, so this is the first thing to get right.

Common problems the checker finds

  1. Duplicate or missing titles on product and category pages generated by a CMS.
  2. Meta descriptions that are too long, so Google rewrites them.
  3. Two or more H1 headings from themes that wrap the logo in an H1.
  4. No canonical tag on pages that can be reached through several URLs.
  5. Images without alt text, especially in sliders and galleries.

Limits of a single-page check

The checker reads the HTML the server sends. Content added later by JavaScript, site-wide issues like broken internal links, and speed metrics need a full crawl and lab tests. That's what a technical SEO audit covers.

Questions people ask

Is this SEO checker free?

Yes. It's free with no sign-up and no limit beyond basic rate limiting to keep it fast for everyone.

Does the checker see content loaded with JavaScript?

It reads the HTML the server returns, which is also what most search engines read first. Content that only appears after JavaScript runs may not be checked.

Why is my score different from other SEO tools?

Every tool weighs checks differently. Use the individual results, not just the number, to decide what to fix.
